Green2Gold, an initiative of Environmental Education Group, founded in 1972, in alliance with Inventors Workshop International, is an innovative international non-profit incubator and economic development engine based in Santa Barbara, California that aims to stimulate sustainable jobs, wealth and green technology for communities. The organization has received numerous honors. Products of Inventors Workshop International and Green2Gold members have been featured on the Oprah Winfrey Show, Good Morning America, CNBC, CNN, the Business Radio Network, in The Wall Street Journal, Time magazine, Entrepreneur, Inc., as well as numerous other television, radio and print media. The Center for Regional Sustainability at SDSU brings together the region’s citizens, educators, policymakers, and researchers to identify, define and address the region’s most critical issues.The Center is a forum through which a range of stakeholders can come together to work collaboratively to implement comprehensive sustainable solutions that enhance the natural environment, economic vitality, and social equity in San Diego and Imperial Counties, and in Northern Baja, Mexico.
