Action Plan Template
Nov 2nd
An action plan is a great way to plan your semester’s projects. For each stage of the project, it is important to fill out responsibilities (who will do it?), timeline (by when?), the resources available and needed, potential barriers, and lastly a plan for all parties to involved to meet or check the progress of the previous step before moving on to the next step. Action plans enable student organizations and businesses to assess the feasibility of a project before actually starting the first step of the project. Moreover, if you are trying to pick between doing one project over another, action plans are a great way to make that decision based off of resources and time needed to complete. In other words, action plans give you the ability to decide which project is more likely to succeed. Action plans also work when you are collaborating on a project with another organization. For example, under responsibilities (who will do it?) you can say Organization A is responsible for X and Organization B is responsible for Y. Bottom line, organizations that plan their projects in advance using some type of action plan template are much more likely to succeed. Click to download the Action Plan Template.
