“People often say, ‘We are the ones we have been waiting for’ and I truly believe it.   Time is running short and what we need right now are change agents for an equitable and prosperous green economy.  Please help Green Tower Sustainability cultivate the change agents we so desperately need!”

-Ian Bevan

Experience: Ian Bevan was elected second president of the Enviro-Business Society (aka e3) at San Diego State University.   There he served for two semesters and his focus was organizational growth, event planning, and cultivate grow the campus sustainability movement.   Ian continued to mentor the student leaders in the Enviro-Business Society as he moved on to become the first Sustainability Commissioner at SDSU’s Associated Students.  Ian helped conduct environmental audits within Associated Students, co-chaired the Green Love Committee, which is Associated Student’s environmental committee at SDSU.  As Sustainability Commissioner, Ian also spearheaded an effort to drastically expand outdoor recycling at SDSU.  He pointed to a disparity of trash to recycling containers and created a business argument to retrofit the excess trash containers to become recycling containers with the Physical Plant and campus administration.  Ian was involved in the formation of a senate committee for sustainability in the SDSU Senate.  Ian spent 2006-2010 lobbying with other students to create the first LEED Platinum student union building in the country (scheduled for construction soon).   Today, Ian is working towards his MBA in Sustainable Business Management at Presidio Graduate School.  In his second year of his MBA program, he founded Green Tower Sustainability with his class mate and Green Tower advisory board member Greg Romey and is now consulting with several student organizations.  In addition to this, Ian is also on the advisory board and key corespondent with our parent organization, Green2Gold.
