Experience: Jill first got involved with sustainability in college at Guilford college, where environmentalism was prevalent as well as social justice issues.  Jill worked in social work for a while after graduation and jumped back into sustainaiblity in University of Arizona during her graduate work.  She became involved in University of Arizona’s student union and simultaneously was studying about higher education.  Then, the coordinator for Sustainability Education postion opened up right when she was graduating.  Today Jill serves this role for the University of Arizona as well as donating some of her time to GTS.

Jill has been conducting more and more research related to sustainable practices on campus, specifically in residence halls and in orientation.   Jill has years of experience encouraging RA’s to weave sustainability in all of their programs and has been working on developing resources for RA’s.
