Dola’s Background

Dola was born and raised in Livingston, CA, where according to him, sustainability is last thing anyone thinks about.  It wasn’t until he took a class on earth science at Stanislaus state university did he realize how big of an impact human beings are having on our environment. Dola quickly researched potential schools he could transfer to and became aware of e3 at sdsu. Feeling that he had to learn as much as he could as quickly as possible to make a difference, Dola went on a personal journey of not only learning about green living but living first hand. Dola believes that what is missing in the current “green movement” is environmentalist walking the walk not just talking the talk and is excited to see GTS help orgs get other students involved, so they can educate and inspire others as well.
