What are GTS Mentors?

GTS Mentors: (Formerly known as Student Consultants) have specific experience in areas such implementing farmers markets on campus, grass roots marketing and are on call to lend their knowledge to student organizations.  This enables you to lend your support to those who really need it, without devoting much time at all!

Job Description:  As opposed to being a part of the Green Tower Advisory board, being a GTS Mentor is minimal in terms of time you must invest.  Green Tower will simply contact you when student orgs need your advice.   GTS Mentors don’t have to say yes to any project, though it is hard to turn away student orgs in need.   Becoming a GTS Mentor enables you to share your unique knowledge and skill sets with other student leaders across the country!   The only thing we ask is that you TRY to help out student organizations whenever you are able to help.   Green Tower Sustainability staff will help student consultants be paired up with student groups so that the right mentor is talking to the group that really needs their specific help.

We need more GTS MENTORS!  The more student consultants we have, the more students we can expand our service.  If you would like to become a GTS Mentor, please fill out our application form.
